I’m Still Here!
Yes, you probably know I’m still around as ScreenCastsOnline is still going from strength to strength, I keep popping up on various podcasts and if you follow me on twitter, you’ll know I twitter probably far too much.
What I haven’t done is to keep you updated on progress with the Podcast-Monetiser (or lack of it).
Actually, that’s not quite true, I did have a flurry of activity in the Summer when I revamped the current documentation with the intention of scaling back my plans and at least getting something together to issue. My original intention was for an all singing, all dancing, highly detailed set of documentation together with a subscription based podcast that would lead you through the process from soup to nuts.
I’ve come to realise that is just too hard to do with the limited time I have available running ScreenCastsOnline and the other projects I’m involved with. So I’ll have to scale back my plans and probably just look at releasing an overview document but containing enough information to allow you to start thinking about strategies and tools.
Just to throw something out there, if there was sufficient interest, I’m wondering if a live weekly webinar type event might be easier to put together once you’ve had chance to consume the content. Pull in questions from those interested and perhaps walk you through some things each week. Any thoughts?
But please, I don’t want to string you along and nothing is going to happen for the next month or two at least. I’m currently preparing for Mac Mania 8 which is a geek cruise that I’ll be speaking on. That takes out half of November and the weeks before then I’ll be doing double duty making ScreenCastsOnline content for while I’m away and then a couple of weeks catch up when I get back. However, the cruise will give me some thinking time and without the usual distractions, I may be able to focus on how I’d like to move this forward.
As usual, your comments would be most welcome!

Hi Don,
I’m not a big fan of Webinars. Webinars are good, if people can fit them into their schedule. I seem to be missing all webinars I want to follow due to my tight schedule
One idea is maybe to join up forces with someone else ? Don’t know if that’s feasable, and if it would save you some time, but might be worth invesigating.
Regards,
Stefaan
